LZ Shift Knob Loose any tips on keeping it on?

I luv my new LZ Shift Knob.

But it's a little loose & twist easily to the left.

I am by no means a heavy shifter...wussy would be more like it.

Anyhow, any tips for keeping it on a little tighter?

Are you sure it is completely locked on? It is easy to think it is locked and only be partially engaged.

Regardless, a quick fix is to wrap the selector rod with 1-2 wrappings of masking tape. The diameter increase will make the knob fit tighter.

I'll check tomorrow. Didn't feel it snap into place. Kinda just slid over the stem very easy (to my pleasant surprise).

NOt it slipping off too easy.

Is there a detente inside the knob to latch onto the stem?

The 4 tangs inside the shift knob will make a positive docking connection with the rib of the selector rod. You should hear and/or feel it when the connection is made.
