i just got an m roadster, 2002 model and it didnt come with a manual....problem is that the top is not going down and i dont know if it is broken. can someone help me out and tell me how to do it (lower the top) so that i can verify that this is the problem, thanks.

You need to have you foot on the break to lower the top.

You can also get a manual (in pdf format) on the owners circle.

You should also first push the front of the unlatched top up about 8 inches and make sure it starts to fold at the first linkage points, then hold your foot on the brake while pushing the button.
