You could use a window blanket from someone like Z3 Solutions and greatly minimize any creasing or scratching.

Put it down and leave it down. That way you will never see the crease. It's a roadster.

as part of the worry club to, i found that if you lower it all the way down and then with the switch raise it back up about a inch it takes alot of the pressure off the window
