I just picked up a 2000 M Roadster and I've got a couple of probably easy questions:

Is the fan knob supposed to light up at night (all the other gauges have lights)?
Will a boot cover from a 2002 M roadster fit a 2000 roadster?
The driver's seat moves back and forth a little, is there something I can tighten up?

Thanks!

1. Fan knob should light up. Chances are a bulb is out. Have a look at this link

2. Boots will be interchangeable.

3. An entrepreneur named Doug Whalen sells seat bushing upgrade kits that will stop the rocking motion. I don't think he has them on his website but you can contact him and say we sent you.

Here's a couple of writeups on replacing the seat bushings. It's a common problem.
