OH NO! The dreaded #1 Failure mode in our cars IS BACK!!!

The AIRBAG LIGHT! I hate that thing. Its the problem I dread the most. I thought it was finally gone forever after years of problems. Both of the harnesses were changed for the seats. It was good for 2 years. until...

It came on yesterday.

Some kind of fluctuating voltage or driverside door bag fault. fault 38.

CRAP. I don't even have a real dealer here to go to, if I can't fix it.

It's probably the hot weather down there.
Knock on wood, I've never had an airbag related light problem (that I didn't create) on any of my six BMW's and the two that I took care of.
Call Dan at Peake and see if he can elaborate on fault 38.
Are you back home?

Home again. Got real sick there and am still recovering from some kind of flu.

I will call dan and see if he has any insight on the fault.
