Tools > Internet Options On the General Tab/Temp Internet Files, click on Delete Files > OK
Microsoft KB
This solved the problem for me.

I tried what you suggested but when I go to the save picture screen ( upper left corner of the photo )the only options shown in the "save as type pull down" is bit map! even if reading the properties it shows jpg.

Did you delete all your offline content as well? Go to Internet Explorer - Tools - Internet Options - Delete Files - and see if deleting All Offline Content Box is checked. Try deleting all the offline content. Hopefully this will do it. I did a google search on this, and got a bunch of hits -- seems to be a common problem. If this doesn't cure it, take a look at this: http://forums.invisionpower.com/lofi...p/t151191.html

I've had to do this a couple of times and it works for me.
