BMW parts department says clutch for S52 M Roadster and S54 M Roadster are different. Aftermarket clutch places have the same part for both.
As a matter of fact, ClutchMaster has E36 M3 clutch and seems to think it will fit M Roadster (S52 & S54). SPEC has M Roadster clutch but one for both S52 & S54.
What gives...?
Has anyone done clutch upgrade for S54 M Roadster/Coupe?
Will E36M3's clutch fit M Roadster/Coupe?
Will S52 M Roadster clutch fit S54 clutch?
What do you all think?

RealOEM.com shows that the E36 M3, S52 coupe and S54 coupe all have the same clutch part numbers. The Euro E36 6-speed tranmission bolts right up to the S54, so that is all the same.

I've called local BMW dealers and they seemed to have different part numbers. But everyone else I talked to said they are the same. 
I've just placed an order for SPEC Stage III 6 puck & sprung clutch. I am going to stick with stock flywheel for now.
