As seems to be the custom with BMW these days the wagon derivative is better looking than the sedan. The M5 sedan IMO looks downright goofy at best, and cheesy at worst. This wagon appears to have nice definition.

Can anyone else help but laugh hysterically at the below paragraph?

'The decision to forge ahead with the new model is driven by increased demand for performance wagons in the United States. "We've been monitoring the development of wagon sales in the USA carefully, says our BMW source, and after a long period of stagnation they are rebounding quite heavily, and there is a feeling an M5 Sports Wagon could do well." '

Hello, McFly!!! If you think the M5iT will sell well at $90k a pop imagine how many 330 or 335iT's you could sell at half that price in NA?

And if you (NA) had done anything more than the less than significantly half-a$$ed marketing job that you did with the previous generation Tourings it's very probable there wouldn't be any stagnation to have to rebound from.

Signed,

Mr. Obvious

Amen. I would buy either. We've been babbling about this very thing a few forums away for a while now...
