My Z3 did not come with an alarm. I am looking at purchasing a factory unit. Wish to know where the connections are and the difficulty in installing. Thanks  |

pretty simple if you go factory alarm. there is a install walkthrough on one of the sites. I forgot which one tho. Its plug and play but you do have to take apart the glove box I believe and maybe cut a hole or 2.

It's pretty easy to install if you have some reasonable mechanical aptitude. The connections are already installed on the factory harness behind the glove box, so you have to remove the dash covering on the glove box side.
