Quick question on reinstall trick for door panels

'01 Z3 Roadster. Ok, now that I've removed them once, I can see why the install could be tricky. The stiff /doesn't really want to move.. rubber strip that is on the door has to somehow magically lift up enough for the door panel edge to slip under. yeeeshhh..

Jon, I remember your tip about using soapy water, but I can't remember the other comments. Which end of the door panel should I attempt to put on there first? Do you start and end on an inch or so back, and then slide it into the rubber boot piece on the end (both ends have a boot like this)? Any other tips / tricks?

Thanks.

Put forward edge in first. Have windows down. Slide panel forward and outward into the door. Basically apply pressure forward, outward, and downward all at once. Soapy water on rubber rail on door and on all interface surfaces on door panel.
