 Z3 Exterior chrome covers (around handle)



Okay,

After reading so may people claim to have had their chrome covers (the surround piece that goes around the exterior door handle) installed on both sides for under half an hour on a Z3, I'm going crazy trying to find out how, where, and why?!?!

I am getting quoted the craziest times for this thing. I've heard anywhere between 3-5 hours for this thing.

Can anyone tell me what to realistically expect as a timeframe for installing these chrome covers per side?

(Left) 51-21-8-399-239
(Right) 51-21-8-399-240

You insert a tool (Scrwdriver with tip bent 90 degrees) and pop them loose. Then install new ones. Thats it. If you have done it, its a snap. The actual handles are much more complicated.
