Did I FUBAR my electrical system??

Did my own oil change yesterday and used the Pin 7 ground process (for ~9 seconds) to reset the oil/service interval lights. For some reason it didn't work the first couple of times I tried it, but the third time it did, got all of my green bars back. So I went out for an afternoon drive to enjoy the weather and noticed later that evening when it got dark that my headlights where now operating on there own!! They seem to just come on for no reason and I can't turn them off unless I put the key in and turn all the way to position 2 ( I think, it's as far as key will go without starting) and pull the headlight switch out and push back in to turn off lights...

Did something happen to my car by doing the Pin 7 ground?

Doubtful. If I recal correctly the headlight switches in our cars commonly fail and do weird things. Maybe someone else can comfirm.

I don't recall seeing this problem before, but it's possible that the crash control module is confused. Got a friend with a Peake tool?

I've heard of the light switch failure as well, what's weird is the light switch "appears" to work fine. What does the crash control mod do? turn on headlights in event of collision? I have no dash lights on, but my brother does have an OBDII reader which works on my car (how I found my O2 sensor problem)...will it tell me anything???

Any chance he re-enabled Daytime Running Lights?

I do not think that is possible without the proper relay.
