Hey guy i would love to get a nice leather armrest, something similar to leatherz.com product except without the cupholders....coffee cups and these cars dont go together....Anyways i couldnt find an armrest that wouldnt have cupholders....anyone ??? help ?

You know, if I were you I'd drop the LeatherZ folks an email and see if they can't cobble something together for you. I bought one of their armrests with the hidden cupholders and the Homelink UGDO and couldn't be happier with it.

Thank you for replies, guys. I think ill write them an email and see what they say, if there is no armrest without cupholders i gues ill just get one with them...as you said never know when i might need a place for the big gulp hehe

We don't offer an armrest without cupholders for Z3s.
Mk4 armrest for Z4 has no cupholders.
I could possibly convert an Mk1 armrest to have no cupholders - just 2 storage bins - but it will not be cheap. It will involve a lot of cutting, bonding, bondo, and new paint time and material. Figure an extra $100 - $150 on top of regular Mk1 price.
Or just get an Mk1 and don't look at the cupholders, which will be concealed anyway. You can use them for small item storage as-is.

I've looked on leatherz quite a few times for a leather bound armrest to match my beige leatehr interior; however, I always seem to talk myself out of it. Mainly because every time I see the picture, it doesn't seem to be the same exact shade of the beige in my car.
I never bothered to ask anyone's opinion about this since I've just recently discovered this site.
Is the leatherz beige leather on the mark with the BMW leather?
If so, I'd love to up the leather in my car.
