Greetings Coupe (and Roadster) people,
Just a quick note to the fellow HC and Coupe gang that I finally made it to Kosovo last week. I was in various parts of Germany in January and February. I did get to run the Autobahn from Bavaria (Hohenfels) up to Hanau (Frankfurt area) and back. The Army even authorized a rental car which turned out to be a 2005 525Td.
We had to wait (and wait) for decent weather to leave Germany for Kosovo. After picking our way through Austria and Serbia we were stranded in Dubrovnik, Croatia for four more days due to bad weather (again). Beautiful coastline and scenery so we didn't feel to bad staying around there.
I saw quite a few Z3 and Z4 Roadsters in Germany but ZERO coupes.
Missing the Coupe and Roadster but settling in for the one year tour here. Right now I'm busy flying around the countryside and border area to learn the "lay of the land".
