Stellar Alarm BMWVTXC install - help!
I purchased a Stellar BMWVTXC this week and have been trying to decipher the instructions which are confusing, vague and incomplete. Anyone out there sorted this out?
It must cost Stellar a fortune in tech support. Of course, they're not open on weekends when people like me would be at this.

#1 looks like a harness to connect the alarm unit (#9, supposed to installed on drivers side) but one end is bare wires (is a connector missing? Is it long enough?). There are 20 wires in this harness.
Otherwise:
1. Not sure 2. Not sure 3. Not sure 4. No idea 5. Battery for key fob 6. Antenna? 7. Valet button 8. Siren 9. Alarm Unit 10. 2 Stage Shock Sensor 11. Key Fob 12. Harness for Shock Sensor 13. LED (gets attached to windshield)
There are no instructions on how or where to install the unit, sensors, antenna, etc., other than they are supposed to go under dash on drivers side connected to 12 pin port on passenger side via supplied harness. I do not know if I need to remove console in order to run the harness through. Stellar initially suggested zip ties to fasten the units and to zip tie the shock sensor to the steering column.
I have had the glove box out and back in to verify 12 pin port exists which it does. I have not removed any panels under drivers side dash nor do I know how. Stellar claimed this was a one hour install.
Any help appreciated.

MZNorth | I can probably help. I ordered a VTXC back in August, but when it didn't arrive for more than 4 months and repeated phone calls to Stellar, I gave up and installed a CompuStar 2WSS. From what I've read and my own experience, Stellar isn't losing money on support (their support sucks). Not a bad product, just no support.
Post close-ups of the connectors in question. Also post one of the connectors on the alarm brain. I can't tell from your picture, but it sure looks like Stellar just rebranded the CompuStar 2WSS. Might be exactly the same alarm (I think CompuStar gets it from Magicar overseas, wouldn't suprise me at all to see multiple licensees of this unit).

There's really nowhere to put the alarm brain on the driver's side, and it'd be a dumb idea in our cars anyway since there's a spot meant for an alarm brain behind the glove box (where the factory alarm goes, but that bracket will happily hold aftermarket alarms too). Depending on the alarm features and whether or not you want to use them, you may not need to do anything at all on the driver's side. From memory, the only thing I did on the driver's side for the CompuStar was to tap the footbrake signal for automatic door locking (to lock the doors the first time the brake is depressed after starting the car and unlock them when the car is turned off again).

What baffles me is all the loose wires with no connectors. In this shot there are 26 or more raw wires??? What the heck happens with all those wires (in less than an hour?)?
As far as the driver side issue is concerned - yes - it'd be a lot easier to install this behind the glove box. However, it was recommended to install the shock sensor on the steering coumn for maximum effectiveness. Where did you put yours?
I could easily live without the auto locking feature.... but maybe other features are dependant on connections in that area(?).
Thanks a LOT!
