I'm just trying to generate some good publicity about the dealerships that people feel are more than acceptable.

We've all heard the horror stories, thank you for not repeating them here.

I will state that Yark BMW (a Five Star Dealer) in Toledo, Ohio has provided an outstandingly good dealer experience for our three BMWs. I have had dealings with the sales, service, parts and bodyshop staff and been consistantly satisfied. Many times with them doing value added service beyond what was requested.

Oh sure, with three BMWs...

Well, the first ten months of excelent service was with a car NOT purchased from them (CPO 99 M Rdstr from M.A.G. in Columbus, Ohio; and that too was a satisfying experience).

Let's hear it for the dealers that have made your BMW experience worthwhile!

The Automaster in Shelburne, Vermont. Outstanding in every facet.

Faulkner BMW in Lancaster, PA has done quite well by me. From the GM, SA, SM and rep I get personalized service, prompt replies to inquiries, and only minimal when they see what I have done to the car since my previous visit. I received good deals on both cars I bought from them, all service experiences have been timely and positive.

Elfhearse can attest to their service department as well

I love Ride West BMW in Seattle. But they don't work on cars.

I have been to almost every dealer in Los Angeles (Cutter not included), 2 of the 3 dealers in Seattle, and 2 dealers in Cincinnati. All of those were crap, without exception. I never had a car serviced at Cutter in SB, just sales.

Auto-Strasse in Ann Arbor has been very good to me. I believe my salesman is now retired, but was a roadster kind of guy (and a Lotus kind of guy). Service and parts have been great. Service treats my car almost as carefully as I do, at least so far. Parts counter is always helpful and never rape me on parts. They're also usually interested in my projects.

The service guys like Ron and the the Maddux brothers too; they've commented positively on a few things (Ron's carrier arm bushing and strut tower caps, LeatherZ Mark1 armrest). Of course, a truckload of things have been done to the car since my last service visit; their tune might change when they see the SportMode/DSC work, ISSPRO gauges, ProjectorZ, Ireland subframe bushings and KW V3 coilovers. The center console is now harder to remove and replace, I don't intend to let them do that if they ever need to get in there (I'll do it for them).

Fields BMW in Winter Park.

Fair deal on car, no pressure to sell.

Parts dept quoted me on oil and filter items, when asked about BMW CCA discount, they quoted and sold me the items at the discount.

"But don't want to see my BMW CCA card?"

"No, that's not necessary, sir, we trust you."
