The two I ordered arrived today. The ones I ordered to match the stock ones are a perfect match dimensionally. Of course, if all you want is bling, you can just use caps. However, I'm willing to bet these caps won't stay on the stock bolts; they'd need to be trimmed down a little bit so that the narrower internal parts gets a good grip in the lugbolt head. They do stick well on the lugbolts I got today, and probably stick well on the multitude of bolts I have from TireRack. The bolt in the back is not what I expected. I ordered it to check the longer ones for my wheel spacers. While the cone appears to be the correct angle (I haven't measured it yet), it's truncated instead of tapering all the way to the threads. All this stuff came from prestigewheel.com. Stock-length chrome-plated lugbolts were $2.97 each. |

Looking more closely at the long bolt, it looks like it might be a ball seat. Anyone have a Benz 190 or 300 to take a picture of a lugbolt?
Hopefully Prestige Wheels will give me an answer as to what happened via email. Order was correct, I think they just sent the wrong part.

Just to clarify, since Ron asked me privately why I didn't just buy the Z8 lugbolts from LeatherZ...
I'm looking for longer ones to run with my wheel spacers up front; a set for the 10mm spacers and a set for the 15mm and 18mm spacers. I bought a single stock-length one just to see what it looked like. I wish the longer one (which is what I need) had the right seat. The point of my post was that _hopefully_ Prestige actually has the right longer ones and just sent me the wrong part. I need to stop posting, this flu has fried my brain.
It won't be that long before I'm doing chrome plating at home, but for the moment I'd like to just have a set of plated bolts to use up front without having to send them out for plating.

I'm planning to install my Rogue 10mm with the stock M Wheels. & though they do come with the bolts, I wanted to see an alternative solution when you post results.
Also, is there anyway to add wheels locks? Hope this doesn't decompose your brain!

I'm sure there are some other options for those with spacers. I'd be willing to split 2 sets of them once I settle on spacers for the street (still trying to do the 10mm, might have to use the 15mm). I'd need 2 from each set since the front ones obviously need to be longer than the rear (no spacers in the rear).
