Rogue 10mm spacers on front only?

After dropping my car, the front wheels are noticeably tucked inwards now.

I did a little bit of research and came to the conclusion that Rogue 10mm spacers are the way to go (lots of shimmy issues with H&R hubcentric spacers).

Since the rears don't really need them (already have 265's out back to fill out wheel wells), will a pair of 10mm hubcentrics do fine without screwing up suspension geometry? Is there a rule of thumb for using wheel spacers?

The benefits wheel spacers give are not only aesthetic but also an increased track (decrease understeer on our cars when front track widened) width right?

I can live with a slightly decreased hub bearing life as well as having to replace bolts (might go the stud route) a bit more often.

I've been running Rogue 10mm spacers up front for about a year to clear my coilovers. The suspension geometry doesn't really change, but you'll get a very slight reduction in ride height and possibly a small increase in negative camber (more leverage on the springs). I didn't measure with the stock springs, my spacers went in as part of the suspension change.

Yes, but it won't be hugely different with 10mm spacers alone. But 10mm spacers will give you room to run 235's up front.

I would not worry about lugbolt life. I've never broken or bent one in my life. I've seen wheels completely destroyed without a bolt breaking or bending. I've seen trailing arms torn off without a lugbolt failing. If they're torqued to spec, lugbolts do a terribly good job of keeping the wheels attached. They usually get replaced from corrosion and thread galling (or just cosmetics), not bending/breaking. Of course, if you curb the car hard enough to tear off the trailing arm, I'd replace the lugbolts.

Spacers are inexpensive, and trivial to remove as long as you put anti-seize on them (esp. around the hubcentric ring). You can always check tire wear along the way, or quickly with a tire pyrometer.

Thanks for the heads up Dan...

should I wait until I have spacers installed before I get an alignment or spacers don't affect alignment period?

Doesn't really matter. The only adjustment in the front in stock form is toe, which is unaffected by spacers.
