Ok, this is off topic, big time...
I have an automatic mazda miata. Yes, its lethargic at best...
And I need to get the transmission flushed, cleaned, or whatever...
Its like $129 at the dealership. The hook it up to a machine and run fluid through it supposedly. Is it worth $129? Or would I be better crawling around on my back and doing it myself?
Anyone here who wants to rag on the miata can do so, but it sure makes the coupe feel fast.

Hooking it up to a machine is supposed to flush the whole system including torcon, valve body, etc. whereas just DIY dropping the pan and swapping the filter usually changes about 1/2 to 2/3 of the fluid. Most people say just do the DIY twice as often as the machine flush and you should be fine.

I did DIY on a 92 325i with the GM auto trans.
I would pay $129 to have someone else do it if I had to do it again. Lots of work. Messy. SAE hardware. Car running on jackstands.

I am inclined to just let the dealership handle it. I am in the middle of moving too to make things worse. I will be asking questions about cabinetry next...
