new M coupe member... i need help..

hey guys... i am a 21yr old college kid... i bought my first bimmer in november... before i got my plates some lady using her cell phone in her SUV smacked my pass. side.. making my car spin out.. and ultimately stop on someones front stoop...

the car is a 99 M coupe.. my insurance company totalled it.. i bought it back...

its going to have a salvage title.. my question is... how do i go about rebranding the title??
I am also looking for parts to rebuild the car.. any recs???
how about body shops in or around morris county???

they totalled it because the unibody rails have some scuff marks and dents in it.. from going offroad over rocks and what not.. i measured the rails and they seem to be equal...

i need some help gettin my baby back on the road..

help me out guys.. new to the bimmer family.. hoping to keep this car for life...

thanks...

Not sure what you mean about rebranding- but if you mean to take the slavage off- I think that would be dishonest and maybe illegal?

If you can get a stright car out of it for less money- good for you, but I think you need disclose this information to a future buyer.

Not to question your motives or honesty here, and sorry for your loss, but if you are truly interested in keeping the car "for life" I can't see why the salvage title would bother you all that much.

Sorry for not being really helpful, but I for one would not like to see a totalled coupe with a laundered salvage title out there on the market.

Good luck repairing the car if that is what you choose to do.

I sent you a private message on how to do get a "rebuilt" title since its not possible to get a "clean" title.
