Help- while going nuts detailing my Z yesterday, I removed the license plate bracket. Amazing how much crud gets in between the two pieces. When I went to attach the bracket back on, the screws pushed the grommet in and they fell in the hatch.

Since I am getting Andy Maddux's rear hatch leather piece- this week, I might as well get ready and take the trim out.

I see on the diagrahm that the screws that hold the main trim piece to the hatch are below the window base trim. Does that piece ( window base trim) pop up and out- then the screws are exposed?

I do not want to break anything..which is my normal route

ps- door trim has to come out for leather z hockey sticks- so if you don't mind
