Hi Gang:

Need to get a car from CA to SC.

Can anyone recommend a shipper that will take really good care?

Thanks

Do not use Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS).

I used Passport Transportation to get my Healey from Florida to Ohio. I would recommend them again. They have however, been sold to Fed-X.

BTW, what method are you planning to use for the Coupe? I'm hoping you'll say driving!

Thanks all. I'm glad that I got the warning on DAS.

Randy, it certainly is my plan to drive.

I also say do not use Dependable Auto Shippers (DAS).

They dropped a ramp on my 2002 M roadster's hardtop. They didn't even tell me about it, I found the damage when I picked up the car. I had to pay the shipping bill and buy a new hardtop.

Your present insurance will cover any damage minus the deductable. They won't pay for a new hardtop though.
