...else I wouldn't be posting this!
Saturday evening I swerved to avoid someone cutting me off (I may have been in their left hand blind spot - things are still a little fuzzy). I braked and swung hard left, lost control, I think I spun, hit barrier, went off highway. It appears the car travelled on the drivers side a bit before coming o rest on all fours (what was left) and I spent the rest of Saturday night in hospital.
Went to see the car in the tower's yard on Monday morning - I felt physically ill. Blood everywhere!
So my M days are over. I don't think I'm going to get another M Coupe (not now, at least). She's definately a write-off.
Well, I got to say that it's been a lot of fun.
I'm sad.

Very unfortunate. At least it sounds like you were not injured too seriously.

Hey
What happened to you is exactly what happned to me to casue me to spin out. Some car was gonna miss their exit so they cut me off not checking their blind spot. I braked and swerved back into her lane (we switch lanes w/ each other) then I lose it. I end up taking out another car's rear bumper, and ended up in a ditch. The cars totaled, I was going about 60-70 MPH, it was wet, and only the sideair bag went off. My passenger and I left without any injuries. I'm sorry yours seemed a lot worse, but at least the car still managed to save you life, as it miraculously did mine.
How much did your insurance settle?

Glad you're OK. Not a good night for Z3's. Both you and I were in accidents and I now know of a third. PITA but gotta look on the bright side, we're alive...
