Just finished my oil change and here's what I found : I am no specialist but I do think that looks like an headgasket. Especially it wasn't looking like that a month ago when I last checked. The oil had 6k on it and the car 55k. All services were done at trhe $tealer a part from the last two, that I did myself. Because of that I would be surprised if BMW was to do anything to help me! Well I would be looking for white smoke out of exhaust. But you wont really know till you pull the head. Worst case scenario: cracked block. Basically when you get "chocolate milk" cooalnt is mixing w/ oil. This can happen from any number of things. Has your car overheated?

Has your car overheated? | No sign of overheating, I mean the temperature gauge never passed the halfway mark.
The sign of a crack block would be loss of power no? Would a compression test shows it?
