Behold, my wonderous bounty
OK, so I know that it's not THAT much stuff. I'm sure that many of you are used to getting this much stuff on a weekly basis. But for a guy like me that likes to read about modifying M Coupes but would rather leave his stock, this is a bunch of stuff.
Bilstein HD shocks to be installed Saturday with the help of my new Powerbuilt, 2-ton, 43-pound aluminum racing jack that cost me $99. It's no DK20, but it's also not $250.
In addition, lots of other odds and ends, including the lower bolts, upper nuts and 2 extra paper gaskets for the rear shock install. Also shown are many other plastic screw head covers, plastic rivets, speed nuts and screws to replace the pieces that are easily lost when the interior is removed far too often.

Nobody here has the $ of Howard Hughes. We all do whatever we can to improve our rides. The jack is something that will serve you well for many years to come and as such is a good investment. The shocks and other parts will make your car perform better which is why you bought it in the first place. Keep spending your $ wisely, and you will have a lifetime of enjoyment in whatever car you own.
Welcome to the world of modifications.

I'll have to borrow stands for Saturday, but I will be ordering two of the AC Hydraulics 3000NFP flat-top jack stands within the next week. Then I'll also get a set of chocks and Rhino Ramps. I figure that with a jack, a set of ramps, chocks and two jack stands, I can do pretty much anything, albeit a little slower without the 2nd set of stands.

In reality, both the Sports and the HD's for the M Coupe are internally identical. The only difference is that the HD's are 18mm longer.

John | I'm told (Mike S chime in) that the M cars are already lower than a stock Z3 and that one should use the Sport shocks even if one is not installing lower springs as well.
