Which M roadster should I put an offer for

Hey which M roadter should I put an offer for
------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. 99 Imola Red: 34000 miles: One owner trade in at a bentley dealer. Clean carfax. asking 19900 I think 18500 might be a possibility.

2. 98 Black: 32000 miles: One owner trade in at a MB dealer is arizona asking 18900: But I know I can get it for 18000. One dent and a cracked underside grill (mesh) and the A/C button is cracked.

3. 99 Silver: 15000 miles: Second owner bought it 3 years ago from a ford dealer for a lady who traded it in on a mustang. Drove 5000 miles since and did all maintanence himself.

4. 99 White: Blue Top: 49000 miles: one owner and he is selling it. All maint done at dealer. No damage, extended aftermarket warranty for 3 more years and till 94000 miles asking 19400 but I think 18300 is possible.

Also none of these guys have any clue about subframe issues. Thanks guys give me an idea on which one I should put an offer for.. Also to keep in mind I live right near Detroit, Michigan

They all seem to be in the same ballpark, more or less, on price. So I guess the decision comes down to color preference and condition. The mileage on them is relatively similar, but you don't know what kind of miles they were (all highway, some track, autocross, owner lived down a long dirt road . . .), so there's no obvious way to make a decision there.

If it were my choice to make, I'd go for #1. Why? I like Imola Red.

However, #3 would be my next choice because of the low miles and the likelihood that it might not have been driven aggressively (though I know a few ladies who can drive the wheels off anything they get behind the wheel of, and do).

I'm in the opposite park, I tend to think that vehicles owned by women tend not to be maintained properly and often have problems that the owner simply isn't aware of. It might be sexist or arrogant but I tend to find it true. There's always exceptions and I'm sure the average owner of any vehicle, regardless of their sex often don't maintain their vehicles properly unless they are enthusiasts or are the original owner.

I think we could probably both come up with enough examples of men and women who are totally clueless about the needs of mechanical devices in general. That being said, the woman had the car for 10,000 miles and then it was owned by a guy for 5,000 miles - not a lot of time to totally destroy the car. It was probably under warranty the whole time the woman had it
