Takes a little time (2-3 minutes) in the AM to warm them up but they stop short & quick. A little squeeling but that tells me they are grabbing
Fade resistant & okay for light autox use but not for track IMO.
Best part NO DUST!!
I have a little noise in the front when I step on the brakes.
Ppl have said it's because they don't fit like oem...that they seem to rattle around in the front.
No one has yet been able to prove to that theory to me yet.
Otherwise..no issues.

Strange, I have never heard of Deluxes squealing at all. Metal Masters yes, but not Deluxes.
DEFINATELY not for any track use. Fine for all street use and most autocross use.

I've been using PBR's on my cars for years now and don't have any complaints. I did have some squealing on my Coupe when I first installed them ... the one time I didn't use any anti-squeal compound. I re-installed them with the compound and they've been silent since.
A friend uses the Metal-Masters on his M3, does 20-er-so track days a year with them... he's a club-racer/instructor. With that sort of use he gets some dust... no complaints at all from him with their performance.

I use them on my coupe. Partly superstitious I guess, but I filed off the small burrs that were on them out of the box on the steel sliding contact surfaces of the pad before I installed them. No squeal, no noise. Metal Masters are a different story however.

Thanks to all for the input. I plan to go with the Delux pads since the only time the car will be on the track will be perhaps two or three times a year for a driver's ed event. If I decided to spend more time on the track and the delux pads aren't up to it, I can always swap the pads for something more appropriate.
