Seems like it has all the M Roadster parts except for the front bumper. Was it one of the first M Roadies to roll off the line, or did someone just ding up the Roadie bumper and put the stock Z3 bumper on in it's place?
probably a salvage and someone didn't know what they were doing fixing it. The year could be mislabelled. Looks like the rear wheels are, in fact, rear-roadstars..those wouldn't fit on a Z.

That's why I'm thinking that it really is an M Roadster...with the Z3 bumper.
I guess someone could get the VIN and run it...

One of our customers bought a DRL module for his 1997 M roadster. He claimed it was pre-production or one of the first ones made. He also claimed that the DRL module did not work in his car.
