Following the TIS instructions ... I have removed and re-installed the passenger seat on my 99 Coupé M.
But now, the idiot airbag light is on all time
I missed something ??? about re-connecting battery ???

I don't know what you missed or did wrong but I do know that you have to get the airbag light reset by a dealer or buy the reset tool yourself.
I ran into the same problem on my E36... The light was on for a couple of minutes and then would turn off. Says that there was a problem, but it has been corrected.

You can either purchase one of these tools to read/clear the SRS fault or you can go to the dealership for them to do it.
