Hi All:

Got a few days off and wanted to do some work on the coupe (2000) and was wondering what is the correct p/n# for BMW TIS CD for my 2000 M coupe.

Thank you in earnest.

The TIS is not available from BMW. They have gone to a online system for the US. You can buy single day, through year long subscriptions, but they are quite expensive.

You can find TIS and ETK on eBay. The most recent set I have is actually from Sweden, but they are the same as the older ones, in that they cover all BMW markets.

I suggest both teh TIS and ETK, as the ETK shows exploded parts diagrams.

The latest version is available on the edonkey/emule network.

Not that i would know anything about that, of course.

You need WinRAR, do a search and you will find it. It is an archive program.
Download each individual file and open them all together with WinRAR, extract to a temp directory. It will create a bin and a cue file, which can be burned to a cd using Nero or other cd burning software.
Basically it is a compressed image of the cd broken into small chunks, which you have to reassemble and burn back to a cd.

Got the ETK loaded, but the TIS is giving me problems
