'96 Z3 1.9, clunk when steering wheel is turned...

Only when it is turned to the right. One very definite clunk about three-quarters of the way turned to the right. Feels like it's coming from the front. Car has H&R springs and Koni sport shocks, M roadster strut mounts in the front, done about 80K miles ago. I was going to suggest that it needs new strut mounts; is there anything else that's suspect?

Thanks!

i have H&R and Bils installed on my Z Coupe. i had to shave down the front spring perches on the housings for clearance because they would rub on the inside wheel well. This would happen when i would turn the steering wheel from lock to lock. after i had both left and right perches grinded down, there were no more clunking noise.
