Installing aftermarket CD/MP3 player...how to connect the wires ?

Hey guys so i bought a nice looking head unit for my baby the other day, Ordered it from
beachaudio.com, since they offered the best price and customer service was awsome too.
Anyways the unit is JVC KDLHX500 and it shipped the other day, today i attempted to install it but didnt know what wires connect where. I figured everything ( Ground, 12V constant, antenna, illumination). I could not figure out how to conect the speaker wires, the only thing that stopped me from putting the unit in. I used electrical wiring diagrams from the 96-98 Manual from Bentley Publishers. Page ELE-91, If anyone knows what the
following abreviations stand for...i beg you for help : VL+,VR+,HL+,MUTE, HR+, I-BUS, VR-, GAL, VL-, HL-, HR-. Thank You

My not very scientific guess but VL+ is german for front left positive, and HL+ is rear left positive. Since rear in German is "hinter". The rest is obvious except GAL which I have no idea. I however would highly suggest you obtain a wiring harness for the stereo. That would save you the trouble of cutting up the car's wiring and making a mistake. Plus the harness would have the wires labeled correctly in English.
Good luck.

WoW, Thank You so much, since my german is limited to " Ich Habe Wurst" i could not figure the "left" and "right" not to mention "positive" and "negative". Thank You again ill hook the unit tommorow.
