I have been looking a convertibles, and am interested in a Z4. I was looking at used ones on the web. I came across a 2003 Z4 2.5 with SP and SMG. I also noticed that SMG is no longer offered with the 2.5 liter engine. The last red flag is that it was $10,000 less that the same vehicle (again a 2003) with a MT. I have never driven an SMG. Is there a problem here? The price was really good (less than $27,000 with 8500 miles on the odometer) and the car also had XE and PP.

Was there an issue with the 2.5 and SMG?
