I just did some electrical work on my car, left the fuse panel cover on the inner fender, slammed the hood ... and cracked the cover ( DOH!). Before I go lay out my first born for a new one from BMW, I thought I'd check and see if anybody had one laying around. The PN marked on it is "61.13 - 1387613 - 109110". If anybody has one, or can point me to a good BMW junkyard, please shoot me an email (vlstu@hotmail.com). Thanks! |

According to this site BMW Parts Catalog, the cover is only $9.10, and if you want a stick on label that shows the fuses, add $1.26. Not sure how accurate these prices are. For $12 +/-, I wouldn't bother looking for one in a junkyard.

It still amazes me how folks that buy modestly exspensive sport toys are irritated that parts & components for them can be equally exspensive. or believe they will be ??

My guess is that the youngsters are stretching buying the fancy car and there is no money left for supporting the fancy car. I also deal with folks that the cars are purchased for them, and the purchaser (Mom & Dad) doesn't support the mods.

It may amaze you, but it pisses me off.
Mainly because folks see me as a young kid with a fancy car and lump me into the "mom and dad bought it for him" category.
Absolute hooey.

Absolute hooey. | You're the exception Ben, not the rule.
But I might just be sticking up for you because you used to have an MGBGT (most people in your age group wouldn't have a clue what one is).
