Bilstein vs. Stock front shock strut

My BBS front wheels are 1/2" wider than stock (17"x8" vs 17"x7-1/2").
Also my front tires are one size larger than stock (235/45 vs. 225/45).

I am considering upgrading the shocks and springs on my M Coupe to Bilstein Sport and H&R springs.

Here is my concern:
With the one size larger wheels and tires on the front, the stock front shock strut and front tires clearance is VERY close.

If I go with the Bilstein Sport shocks and H&R springs, will the clearance between the tire and strut be the same? In other words, are the Bilstein struts different dimensions or shorter?

I am also considering KONI adjustable shocks with stock springs.

I don't have Bilsteins, but I wouldn't be too concerned. You can always run wheel spacers if needed. I run Rogue 10mm spacers up front to clear the KW V3 coilovers. $95/pair for the 10mm, which includes longer lugbolts.
