 Camshaft press tool

BMW recommends this tool for removing the camshafts which you also have to do to remove the cylinder head. It holds the cams down while removing the bearing caps. The two long bolts screw into cylinders 2 and 5 spark plug threads.

Does that hold/release both cams individually (doing one at a time by reversing the orientation of the tool) or both at once?

What's that baby go for?

The camshaft timing gauge tool is used for checking the camshaft timing.

The camshaft adjust gauge tool is used when adjusting the camshaft timing.
The locking pin according to the TIS does not come with it so I odered one.
Well it does come with it, so now I have two pins.
In general tools are not returnable.
Tools only have a 30% margin versus most parts having 40%.
Also on tools you have to pay the local sales tax of the dealer too.
