Got mine in a day ago, quality is awesome but that was expected from andy I noticed that my car is missing a few of the screws and speed nuts from the factory, the painted piece is cut for them but nothing there so I will need to order a few nuts and screws but it looks sweet.. Only question is, once its installed does the lip of the protecter stay under the trim piece or does it lip up to cover the front edge of the painted piece

Only question is, once its installed does the lip of the protecter stay under the trim piece or does it lip up to cover the front edge of the painted piece | The manufacturer left the extra holes in the piece for some reason. You should only have the 2 8mm screws at the corner of each bumper.
It lips upward to protect the front of the bumper as well as the underside. Call me tomorrow if you have more questions. It may be easier over the phone.

Since it's gonna be showing a bit in the front, any thoughts on painting it black, like to match black rear fender stoneguards? If so, how would you go about painting it?

JUst about any spray type automotive paint would do. Just make sure that it has a flex agent added. This will prevent the paint from cracking as it twists.
