I can't believe this is a new problem, but since my dealer's service dept. swears they have never experienced it I thought I might ask the "group". The light beam from one of my xenon headlamps is emitting a "pink" hue. Whay's up with that?

Probably the ballast module is not providing enough power or a xenon bulb gas leak.

Your bulb will need to be replaced. Philips / Osram bulbs tend last between 3000-5000 hrs.
Replace both of them so they'll be color matched.
I have a few good resources for inexpensive replacement d2s bulbs, PM if you're interested.

Thanks for the reply. Any information you could provide would be appreciated. Is bulb replacement relatively straightforward enough for me to do it myself, or do I need to take it to a garage/dealer? DG

it's pretty straight forward. What year is your car?
What ever you do Do not buy your bulbs from the dealer. They will be outrageously priced compared to how much you can buy them for on the net. hid planet . com is good source bulbs. be sure only buy either Phillips or Osrams as they oem suppliers.
