hey.. just wondering for those with the steptronic transmission, do you typically drive with the gear in sport mode or the standard drive mode. is there really a noticable difference?

I leave it in regular mode. If I'm going to be passing on a 2 lane road I'll put it in Sport. It will kick down a gear quicker and it will rev higher before shifting.

It's more responsive - and the most important (safety) factor is - that I am only one downshift away from 'manual' especially in those fast stop from high speed situations where engine braking is a big help to regular braking.

I always have it in manual mode for better control when braking and better feel when accelerating. It's more engaging and also also saves on brake wear!
