the rebirth of Karl Bimmer...Caliber Collision Centers, Chino, CA

To Inland Empire/North Orange County Bimmerphiles: I am very pleased with the work done on Karl Bimmer by Caliber Collision Center on Ramona Avenue in Chino.

Since I had some extra funds available, I decided to have the rear fender repaired (damaged by The Oldest Tax Deduction; he did a "Titanic" manuver when backing my car out of the garage about a year and a half ago).

I did Karl no favors by crunching the front left of the fender when attempting to get out of the garage at my apartment (a very narrow one-car garage!).

Also, there were some "envy dents" (people just ding your door, out of carelessness or spite), and a few depredations from the 91/71/60/105/110/605/405/enter_name_of_freeway_here

I can't say enough about the Paintless Dent Removal - amazing!

I did have to drive a Toyota Corolla for a week (not a bad little car, but it ain't no Bimmer!) - when I picked the car up, I thought I was in the parking lot of Crevier BMW on December 9, 2002, the very first day I got my car! Absolutely beautiful!

For the fenders (replaced), varous dings, etc, etc - about $2600. I suppose I should have shopped around, but this place was in the area, and I had a good feeling about them.

If you go - ask for Brandon Ruacho; a very nice guy!

I'm glad to hear that Karl has been restored to near pristine glory. Considering what you went through to keep him when you first got him, he's surely worthy of $2600 of quality attention.

Better than the POS Saturn Ion I had to drive for 46 days while my bimmer was being repaired
