If for example a service bulletin says to have dealer install 17.01 of code or later to fix a tranny problem...
Is this the same software as the I-drive and everything else?
I saw some rumbling about version 19.x of code being installed on cars now.
Am I to understand the software releases addresses all areas of the vehicle systems?

I'm intrested in finding out the same information as you. It would be nice if some one would post some information to enlighten us on the subject.Oh well I guess there all busy on the BMW Employee post. cheers vern
