Simple Question
So i know this might sound dumb... but how the hell do i open up my bmw key so i can replace the battery? its a simple key with an led, but i dont want to mess it up by just ripping it apart. help?

what year BMW do you have?
the newer ones, like 2001 on (could be wrong about the date, but I think all E46 ar this way) they are sealed and the battery is not replaceable.
Charges while driving.

Mine works like this:
The back side of the key has a cover that snaps out/in. To snap it out, pry with a small flat-blade screwdriver (or a dime coin) at the hole for the key ring. It takes a CR 2025 battery. Positive side visible through the opening.
