11 month update-- Life changing

I never thought I would look forward to the freeway every morning and evening so much.

As I approach 11 months in my first BMW and almost 14000 miles into a 10k per year lease, I take solice in knowing that this car will pass to my non-commuting spouse early next year and I dream not only of this first Bimmer, but the next one .

I'd like to note some of the ways my outlook on life has changed a bit because of the car-

*I no longer commute to my job- I Drive to WERKE

*Going outside for a little fresh air has become- going for some Cold Air Intake

*At my favorite taqueria, I smile when the waitperson brings over the tortillas and salsa thinking that I've been Chipped

*Circular objects are described as Rondel

*I'm looking for a pet at the local animal shelter because I know it will be a- CPO pet

*I buy Super Unleaded.... even at $3.44 a gallon

Am I alone??

Nope!

I have had my car for 6 years and still love it...though a little less each time I have to pay for parts/service...

The drive still puts a grin on my face, and I still stand back and admire the car after I get out each night. BMW is an infection I really don't think can ever be cured.

No you are not! I have been commuting 200 miles a day in my 328Ci for a little over two years now. The only thing that keeps me going, is knowing I can thread the traffic lanes pretty much whenever I want to.
