How can I get the time to display on my dash? I cant figure it out at all!!

Can't directly help you. These types of questions usually get the standard "RTFM" response but assuming you've gone through the trouble of opening your glovebox to "RTFM" only to find out you don't have a "FM", register at the BMW owners circle to download a copy of your "FM" and follow the linky

Try pushing the tip of your turn signal stalk inward toward the steering column.

If by dash , you mean the head unit itself, then press the clock lookign button that is normally used to tune. I believe it is the button under the volume knob on teh fat left of the unit. It will have a little circle and a mark on it to indicate that it is the clock button.
