Electrical problem yay...love my bmw!!! Help!
Ok so I am having some problems with my car...Ok the cruise contol doesnt work...the dash turn signals dont turn on....the high beam light doesnt come on....the power mirrors dont work, the a/c doesnt turn on....the seat belt light is on...if I leave a door open while I start the dash lights for that door will stay on untel car is turned off...if car is running and open door the door light doesnt come on...um... the sunrood wont work with the button on the roof but will work will the key I have...and some other things I cant remember...this is soo gay..I have a 2000 323ci and is in pertect condish other then this which just started!!! Have you been dorking with the electrics? ICE, funny taillights, Air Bag suspension systems  etc? BMWs are very picky about their electrics... I was told at the dealer to only use bulbs with silver bases, as the brass bases will give a different reading to the computer, and computer will continue to think the bulb is out, even though its on... Might be  not sure, but I'm very careful when tinkering with things... Have you tried disconnecting your battery, letting it sit unconnected for about a half hour, and reconnect? Try that and see if it makes a difference... Good luck!

There is something wrong related to your instrument cluster. Listed are a few possibilities that may be the cause of your problem:
1. Malfunction of aftermarket electronics such as stereo.
2. Loose connection of the instrument cluster.
3. Loose ground contact somewhere related to the instrument cluster.
4. Software related problem and the instrument cluster has to be recoded.
If you have aftermarket electronics, try disconnecting them and see if the problem goes away. Otherwise, disconnect the battery for 30 mins. and reconnect. If the problem still exists, take it to the dealer and have them check #2, 3, and 4. Most likely, everything should be back to normal after recoding the instrument cluster - my guess.

I need help... | Man u got some serious issues with your car  , seems like just about the whole car is dead. Not to worry go to your nearest BMW dealer they will look after your problem. Fix it, and hand you a big repair bill. Did you by any chance leave the sunroof and windows open during a big rain storm??????????? cuz that looks like the possible reason to me
