When i press the button to lower my passenger window all i hear is a click noise in the door. So oviously the control is working. Any idias if i could be able to fix it myself. Any fuses that i should check. Its a e36 m3 1995. If i would need a new window motor would someone point to a site. thanks. |

anyone. I've heard about window regulator and and all that but as you can see i don't know much about cars. Would i need to buy one new motor or only a specific part to have my passenger window working again.

Well look at the bright at least it didn't get stuck in the down position like mine did last time my crappy designed window broke. A week of driving around with duck tape holding the window up on a BMW... now that is a ugly sight.

If you do a search on here or look in the DIY section you will find all kinds of information on the window regulators. There are good instructions, or links to, for diy at not too bad of a cost. If you take it to the dealer I think it's around $200.
