i dont even know if its possible/pheasible, but how hard would it be to get an 06 330 with SMG to the states. More importantly, how much?

It is not available for US spec models. You would have to buy a car overseas and bring it here. It would be cost prohibitive to get a Euro spec car registered in the US.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought SMG is not available for the E90?

yea, i know, thats why i asked how hard it would be to import one. That solves the "buying one from overseas and bringing it here" part. 
So you think (or know) that it would cost too much, basically? Thats pretty much what i figured.
Is it because maybe a euro car wouldnt comply with US laws, or simply getting it from there to here would be difficult, both, or something completely different?

thanks for the link, Alex.
Do run of the mill euro-spec 330s meet any of those requirements, or are euro-spec 330s completely different than the US version (other than the fact that SMG is an option).
And whats the deal with foreign registration? Can you renew each year and drive it here indefinately? And what about cost?
