 BMW open wheeler?

Hello everyone,

I was wondering whether or not a certain concept open-wheeler track car was made by BMW. I recently saw a vehicle made by Ariel, and was sure I have seen that type of frame structure somewhere before. The frame structure I have reproduced poorly (MS Paint) below:

If anyone knows any details about the manufacturer, websites, production date etc. that would be great. I have searched but come up with nothing so far.

I know exactly what car you are talking about, and I am almost 100% sure its a Mercedes Benz. I have a program recorded about concept cars, and that was one of the cars that was featured. It was modeled to resemble the ride a motorcycle (?) offers, due to some suspension advancements. I guess the car leans into turns, much like a streetbike.... I will look it up for you.
Well, no luck finding the exact car that was featured on the tv program, but here it is...

Benz F400

The one on TV, if i remember correctly, was much more bare-bones looking...I hardly remember it looking like the F400 I linked. I could be completely wrong, though. Once I get home from work I will find out, though, or else its gonna drive me completely nuts.
