535i sport
Can anyone give me advice.
I accelerated hard in my 535i sport auto when the engine just cut out and 'engine protection system' or similar message flashed up. I switched the engine off, restarted, but now it keeps stalling once the engine drops below 1,000 rpm. This occurs in drive, park or neutral. It seems to drive ok apart from this.

Thanks Flamingjune | Check to make sure all the hoses connected to your air intake are connected (and that there are no holes, tears, etc.). A leak in this area will cause your vehicle to stall at idle and cause your dash board to light up like an X-mas tree!

Is the check engine light on? Reading the code will provide helpful diagnostic info.
