I wanted to thank the people who took the time to point out the differences in the 2000 and 2001. I lucked out and picked up a jet black on black with 44k, sport, nav, with the 6spd.

Now come the decisions, and if anyone would like, your input would again be greatly appreciated.

I have about 1.5-2k to spend. I was thinking Dinan front strut brace (with a rear to come in a few months), short shifter, a cold air intake, and an M style front bumper. Looking at the Dinan intake it looks as if the part is $600 and then the software is an additional $600? Does anyone know what this does differently than a K&N or the AFE on Evosport for around $300? (other than 4 points towards a Dinan badge ) I'm a DIYer to a certain extent, I always have done my own fluids, brakes, plugs, and the sort. I just don't know much about performance parts though I'm learning. Up until now I never really had a tunable car, I was always a 2 15s in the trunk and rolling on 18s kind of guy.


Last thing... (figured I would get all my questions out with the same thread)
I'm thinking about the TVonNav a few months down the road. Does anyone have that or a similar device? I have an Alpine flip up w/dvd from my caddy but it's a single din and Id just assume sell it and keep the stock due to it looking much better, fitting the contours of the dash, etc. The TV option would be nice as well, I don't have the tuner for my unit and from what Ive read once you get the tuner you can hook a dvd right into the inputs. I found a thread on it already but it turned into a pi**ing match without much actual info. Reading the site I know what it does and how it works, I'm just hoping for a testimonial or two or even a suggestion on a better product.
